cldn't blog since i got back arnd 12am and i'm feeling very sick.
but anw,being a cashier is not as easy as you think. How very energy consuming. You've got to stand like 5hrs str.
lucky i'm in choir...standing for 5hrs is manageable. lols

met lixuan approx 4.45pm. I was late.
then we went to report for work.
Team Ldr brought us here and there to explain all the stuffs. Fast but easy to understand. Then we were allocated to diff counters and soon started our trng! (:
hahaha. 5pm to 6pm was quite ok. Not that much of a crowd. But still,no time for rest.
from 6pm-10pm. LIKE OMG. It seems like all singaporeans are very free.
The queues nvr seemed to end. ):
wth. the packing and stuffs, the scanning and stuffs. wowee.
but i was only a trainee so the scanning was left for my 'teacher' to do.
i never realised how much NTUC can earn in 5hrs.
Its so so so much! as in for my counter there is at least thousands.
imagine for 26counters?

10pm-11pm was cleaning up and collecting of report.
Even though our work time is from 5pm to 10pm,in fact, its till 11pm.
very tedious and all. >.<
nevermind!

anw,i feel that all supermarkets should charge extra for excessive use of plastic bags by the customers.
you never know how many plastic bags one customer can use.
This particular customer had everything in a plastic bag.
From fish,prawns [obv need bags]
to canned food. [LIKE WTH]
every single thing was in plactic bags.
Wonder how hard it is to scan?
We had to remove the plastic bags and find the barcode in order to scan.
hell of a time.
then we had to under the customer's request, put all of them IN again.
to add on, they asked for extra 2plastic bags at the end.
like urgh! mayb supermarkets should really charge extra lo.
they're way too much.

and, do you know that ppl can spend up to near $400 at supermarkets?
hahahaha. very surprising.
Their stuffs come in 2-3 trollies. goshy.
so we spent near 10-20mins serving one customer.

oh and, the packing of stuffs are not as easy as you think!
All veg in one bag,
all detergents/soap in one.
Frozen in one,
Canned in one.
Tidbits in one,
work tools in one.
anw,you just can't anyhow throw them into a plastic bag.
yups! not very easy cuz you have to have careful planning and use of bags.
will get complained if you used too many >.<
